No 1' date stamp '8th Feb 02' on reverse (Salles 2144) with hand-struck 'Danish / West lndies/R' in blue on face and St Thomas transit '20/3' on reverse with hand-stamp instructional 'Unclaimed' and 'Retour/A L'Envoyeur' on face, oval Guatemala '29th Apr' with circular 'Transito/Panama' in blue '5th May' and 'Transito/Colon '3rd June' in violet with 'Non Reclame/Not Called For' on reverse and returned via Colon '3rd Aug' and Paris '16 Nov' with Saigon Central '18th Dec 02' on reverse. Remarkable item from French Indo-China perhaps missent to Danish West lndies instead of Sao Thome e Principe, a Portuguese Colony.
