Dennys, .British Military Attaché, Chungking', addressed to India bearing China SG 465, 5c green and SG 474, $2 brown and blue tied by Chungking date stamp '12th May 41 ' endorsed 'Air Mail via Rangoon' routed via .Burma with circular 'Not Opened by Censor/Burma/27' in grey-green on face with 'Opened by Censor' tied by triangular 'Passed Censor/D 11 ' applied in Calcutta with hand-stamp '14' censor cachet and framed Bangalore arrival '27th May' on reverse. Superb item showing the rare circular Rangoon censor, note the use of .Bandit Control marks in violet on the S 2 stamp.
