1852 50b. dull blue along with five singles of 8b. black on large size cover 1855 to Munich, Bavaria via Switzerland, all tied by "BOLOGNA/29/GEN./55" cds, with red "VIA DI SVIZZERA" and "FRANCA" handstamps alongside, Munich '... Feb. 55' arrival datestamp on the reverse. This extraordinary cover was addressed "A Son Excellence Monsieur Le Comte de Sandisell, Grand Chancellier de L'Ordre de St. George". Cover with a strong vert. fold through center (stabilized at back by a white tape) and minor imperfections as light horizontal folds, but fresh and fine stamps. STILL A VERY ATTRACTIVE AND SCARCE COVER.
