Envelope addressed to France bearing Hidalgo Yvert 56, 10c black surcharge 'Tampico' with oval 'Franco/Tampico' date stamp '4/2/76', charged with hand- struck '35' in blue/green sent on the steamer 'City of Havana' with oval 'Ship' hand-stamp routed via 'New Orleans 11/2' and New York '16/2' and London with 'Etats-Unis/Angl. Amb. Calais' double ring '27/2', underpaid with circular 'T' and rated '1f.05' in m/s with Bordeaux receiver on reverse, endorsed 'Refuse'. Superb item full of character.
