1940. Stampless envelope addressed to London canalled by Berbera/British Somaliland date stamp ‘8th April 1940' with framed 'Passed by/381 Censor' and 'S.C.C., K.A.R./Br Somaliland' hand-stamp on face. The Somaliland Camel Corps had a total strength of 14 British Officers and the troops to ethnic Somalis. Humphrey French was the son of Major Herbert Cummins French and was attachd to ‘C Company’ at Burao and later at Berbara. A rare item with text from the Camel Corps with rare censor.
