1867 Cover sent by the 'Bank of Bengal' (oval seal on back) from Calcutta to Moorgate, London and re-addressed to Sloane Street franked by QV 1d. lake-red (SG 44) from the good early Plate 78, tied at Calcutta by "B/1" numeral h/s in blue, with Calcutta (Jan 1867) and London (25 Feb 67) datestamps. The cover has been opened roughly at right and the Indian adhesive with perf fault at right, but still an attractive cover with an India-GB mixed franking.
