1872: First issue 10r. black horizontal pair used along with British India ½a. on cover from Bombay to Verna/Goa, all tied with "BOMBAY S.W./29 JA/72"-"S.W./2" duplex in black and 10r. with numeral "1" of Pangim, violet "PANGIM/1/2/1872" dater along with further transit datestamps as well as Verna arrival c.d.s. on front and back. The 10r. pair with few shortened perfs at bottom and the cover opened bit roughly at right, but still a good and scarce cover.
