1886/1912 ca., collection with more than 60 used postal stationeries, comprising an attractive array of envelopes, postcards, letter-cards and wrappers. Included are domestic usages and mail to foreign destinations, numerous items with postmarks from small places, i.a. 1887 1d rose postcard from Cudal (numeral 631, type 3R12, rated RR) to Blayney, 1 ½d orange letter-card from Medlow Bath (numeral 1611, rated R) to Sydney, furthermore uprated letter-cards to England or Germany; Halfpenny on 1d grey wrapper uprated with ½d green from Sydney addressed to the famous philatelic expert Dr.Emilio Diena in Rome, Italy; various stamped-to-order envelopes, i.a. 'Mitchell & Co. Ltd. Sydney', 'Robert B. Wallace, Newcastle', 'Rud. Veeck, Sydney' etc. Also included are 14 official stationeries, i.a. 1d red 'coat of arms' postcard punctured "GR" used by New South Wales Government Railways Sydney, 1d violet envelopes addressed to the Dept. of Public Instruction Sydney, postcards with "OS" overprint and other useful material. Valuable postal history source in mostly F/VF condition.
