1914/1920 ca., New South Wales Numeral Cancellations on Commonwealth Stamps, valuable assembly of ca.40 stamps (Roo/KGV) presenting the continued use of New South Wales numeral cancellations. Included are (according to Hugh H. Freeman catalogue) 5 examples rated 'RRRR', i.a. '74' (Jembaicumbene), '602' (Enngonia), '625' (Canadian Lead), '855' (Iluka) and '974' (White Rock) together with one example of numeral '2009' (Owen's Gap) with highest rating 'RRRRR'. Also included are several stamps with numeral cancellations noted with an asterix (*) in Freeman's catalogue - considered archival and hitherto with no other example recorded, i.a. '1256', '1300', '1318' etc. Exceptional postal history source - obviously providing new discoveries.
