1852: 1 d. scarlet on bluish medium wove paper, unused, without gum, showing the "WALE" instead of "WALES" variety, three mostly good margins, just into frameline at top, two small blemishes on reverse slightly showing through at left and top, an extremely rare unused example of this variety.
