Air Mail envelope addressed to London bearing Netherlands lndies SG 410, 50c indigo, SG 427, 5c blue, SG 434, 30c bistre and SG 440, 1g violet tied by Medan date stamp with 'Geopend Door Cemsuur' lape tied by circular 'Ned Indisch Deviezen Instituut/Deviezen Censuur/3' censor hand-stamp in red and 'Censuur/32' on reverse '6th Nov 41' with hand-stamp 'Air Throughout/via U.S.A.' in violet on face carried on the last flight of the "Philippine" via Hong Kong with 'Opened by Examiner/2877' censor lape applied in London. Lovely Air Mail item with rare 50 cent indigo only sold at Philatelie counters in the Netherlands.
