British Europe “shines” with superb Q Victoria Great Britain. Used: an 1878 10/- (Plate 1) and an 1882 £1; mint: an 1867 5/- plus Officials. The “Kings” are also well represented.
British North America “sparkles” with superb Canada QV Jubilees ($3 never hindged!) and an early used Newfoundland 1857 2¢ scarlet-vermilion and a mint 1860 6¢ orange-vermilion.
But the “jewels” of this Public Auction lie in Oceania! Australia features nine mint £2 Kangaroos; rare Postage Dues – including a 1907 4d dull green perf 11.
