1856 (March): Chalon 2 d. blue on blued paper, Richardson printing, no wmk., a magnificent used example with huge margins all round and showing small portion of adjoing stamp at lower left, lightly cancelled by "10" numeral obliterator of Wellington in black. Superb. Cert. RPSL (1979) Gi = £ 325.
1857/63: Chalon Head 1 s. blue-green, on soft white paper, imperf., no wmk., four good margins all round, a used example of fine appeqrance. Scarce Gi = £ 1'900.
1862/64: 1 d. orange-vermilion, wmk. Large Star, perf. 13 at Dunedin, a fine used example centred to left, crisply cancelled by "15" obliterator of Nelson in black Gi = £ 425.
Scott Expedition 1911 (Feb 9): ½ d. deep green, overprinted "VICTORIA / LAND" in black (type A2), a used example, cancelled by 'Brit.Antartic.Expd.' cds in black, fresh colour and fine appearance. Scarce stamp. Cert. RPSL (2011) Gi = £ 950.
1855: 1 d. deep carmine red on white paper, London Printing, watermark Large Star, imperforate, unused, without gum, margins mostly ample, touching in places, deep colour, closed tear at top and internal crease through "ZEA", a fine-appearing and extremely rare unused example of this classic stamp. 1855: 2 d. dull blue on blued paper, London Printing, watermark Large Star, imperforate, unused, without gum, margins clear to large on three sides, slightly into design at top, remarkable fresh colour, a fine and rare unused example. Cert RPSNZ (2010) and BPA (1990) Gi. = £35,000.
1855: 1 s. yellow green, London Printing, watermark Large Star, imperforate, unused, with part original gum, good balanced margins all around, pleasing fresh colour, extremely rare, being one of only two examples believed extant with original gum, an exceptional classic stamp.
