1901 from ca., FREE FRANKS of JAMAICA, remarkable specialized collection with ca.280 covers, comprising an attractive and valuable array of Jamaica's Official Mail. Included are the first double-circle free franks in combination with Queen Victoria stamps on registered covers to USA (R!), furthermore mail from various offices and authorities, i.a. Colonial Secretary, Governor, Director of Prisons, Dept. of Agriculture, Government Printing Office, Collector of Taxes etc., also included is forces mail with SECRET/CONFIDENTIAL items from the Naval Intelligence Office, Fleet Mail Office Jamaica, preprinted envelopes from Jamaica Central War Assistance Commitee and many other interesting examples. Highly recommended and rarely offered section of Jamaican postal history!
