Egyptian postal boycott of Israel: 16 MAR 1956 surface mailed FDC ex MANILA to TLV, franked 25c & tied by single strike of special FDC pmk; misrouted via EGYPT (probably placed into incorrect mailbag at origin sorting office), there censored by K-Type5 h/s (#73) in magenta (this rare + late date use) & marked by rare Egyptian "PAS DE SERVICE" K-Type-I IM h/s in magenta (possibly applied by the same censor) - c. 30 covers known w/this IM, here EKD of usage, and returned; b/s 6 JUN 1956 CEBU CITY arr. (almost 3 month transit).
