Postkrieg Egyptian-intercepted mail to Israel: 21 JLY 1954 a/m comm cv on Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce stationary ex MELBOURNE to TLV, franked 2S per airmail rate & tied by local machine cancel; cv was to be sent via S. Africa-UK-France (as of 1950; prior to that via Suez, but mail seized by Egypt) but misrouted via EGYPT, where opened/resealed using K-Type-C label (tied by K-Type6) & tied by K-Type5 (#69) censor h/s, and returned to sender. This cv part of 2 known shipments in July 1954 misrouted to Egypt.
