1878/1965 (ca.): Outstanding balance, stamps and postal history. This includes singles, as well loose album pages, sheets, etc. Items seen include good 19th century postal, such as an 1878 cover with a pair of 1 shahi paying double weight tariff, also 2 of the 1880 1 abasi types used on cover, another cover with the 1880 1abasi type 13 and type 14 1rupee. The stamps have a complete sheet of 40 of the 1875 1 shahi purple, as well as a complete sheet composite reconstruction of 40 of the 1878 purple brown shade with the 1 shahi, 1 sanar, 1 abasi, 1/2 rupee and 1 rupee present. Another interesting section is a stack of album pages, such as the 1931 - 38 newspaper stamps, varieties, types, etc, the same with the 1939 types. Covers include airmails, multiples, redirected mail, 1941 diplomatic mail, etc, etc all housed in a box. The accumulation needs time and a good sort, much more here to research, ideal for the specialist . (S)
