1880: postal stationery formular card "MAURITIUS POST CARD" franked with 2c stamp (SG 83) cancelled by VERY RARE NUMERAL "19" of SOUILLAC sent to Port Louis with backstamp (MR 9.80). Very fine. The NUMERAL 19 IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF MAURITIUS ACCORDING TO IBBOTSOM (see p.52). Proud mentions on p. 385 that Souillac has only sent 13 postcards in 1879 and 272 postcards in 1882. A GREAT RARITY PROBABLY UNIQUE. H&G 2
