1802-14: "POST FREE" Madras framed h/s in black (Giles 6) on back of H.M. Service cover to Major Shearman of H.M. 86th Regiment at Secunderabad. Cover refolded in order to show the handstamp, wax seal removed roughly (part of back-flap missing) otherwise good. A good strike of this early handstamp on a military cover.
