Lot 31x pins & awards of the "Ot HaSport" (Sports Award) event, including many variations & metals + annual dated series of awards, from 1942 to 1956 (w/o 1948) & one undated (may be from 1941, start of program); one marked by Kretchmer; a few duplications but a rare grouping hard to assemble. Initiative begun 1940 by Dept. of Physical Fitness of the Vaad Leumi, to run annual physical fitness & first aid awareness tests and competitons for all ages; enrolled students & under 15 not-enrolled paid 15 mils for the metal pins; aged 15+ not enrolled or grown-ups paid 20 mils for the pins; if lost, paid 20m + 50m extra for replacement; part of the funds went to JNF.
