Promotional booklet for "Youth Aliyah", 1935; printed in Germany for YA Conference in Amsterdam in Sept.; 32 pages incl cover (loose). Photo-illustrated, w/statistical charts + map of Palestine w/YA settlements on back cover. YA founded same day that Nazi Party came to power in Germany (30-01-1933), to protect German Jewish youth by sending them to pioneer training programs in Palestine after elementary school; initiative supported by World Zionist Organization & founder Recha Freier supervised its activities in Germany & Henrietta Szold (founder of Hadassah & responsible for social services of Jewish Agency) in J'lem.
