Italy: "Titus Judea Capta Sestertius" bronze Paduan cast copy after Giovanni Cavino (1500-1570); 31mm, 14.65g. Obv.: Titus laureate head left & leg. "IMP T CAES VESP AVG P M TR P P P COSVIII". Rev.: figure standing left of tree & sitting Jewess weeping on right; legend "IVDAEA CAPTA" & "SC" in exergue. Coin rotation. Poor detail typical of cast make but little wear, with glossy patina on surface; Cavino's original in Lawrence-37 (based on Cohen-187, or #114 in 2nd ed.).
