1859 Entire letter from Singapore to Boston, USA via London, franked by East India 1856 ½a. blue, 1a. brown, 2a. yellow-buff and 8a. carmine all tied by octagonal Bengal type numeral "B/172" of Singapore, with small London transit cds in red and large circled "BOSTON/BR. PKT./5 Cts./JUN/22" d/s on face, Singapore '2 MAY 1859' despatch d/s in red and red London transit cds on the reverse, very fine, scarce and most attractive.
