Color trial specimen of 1000 Drachmas (ND 1944) in purple with Theodoros Kolokotronis at left. First type S/N: "ν.Γ-200 000000". Punch hole on Governors signature. Black cachets "B.W & CO. SPECIMEN." and "ORIGINAL COLOUR" at upper left and upper center margin respectively. Letter "A" at upper right margin. Smaller dimensions than the circulated banknote. WMK: Ancient bust (like #Hellas 165). Inside holder by PCGS "Extremely Fine 45 - PPQ / Hole Punch Cancelled". (Hellas 164s) & (Pick 172cts).
