Belt: 1939-45 Army Officer Waist Belt, brown leather with pebbled finish, open-frame, 2 x prong buckle with silver wash finish. Evidence to inner side of removal of 'D' rings for supporting straps (it was decreed after 1939 that shoulder straps were not to be worn during wartime). Good large size (fits a 42-44 inch waist). No maker marks evident. Exc. Scarce
