Equipment: WWII issue Army Binoculars (No 2, MkII). These particular pattern binoculars were contract purchased by Australia from the US where they were made & period repainted in jungle green, DD marked & dated 1945, complete with correct web neck strap along with its tropical issue transit tin, also painted in tropical green & DD marked. Minor rust where tin strapping removed. Choice example.
