Brazil: 1733/2-M Joao V (1706-1750), gold 12800 Reis ('Johanna' = Dobra), italic arms shield, Fleur-de-Lis over diagonal edge, Minas Gerais mint, very clear overdate & error die features of inverted NN in IOANNES inscription! and small triangles flanking date and mintmark. 28.68g. KM-139. Graded NGC AU58, quite well struck with hardly any wear & nice patina. Impressive short lived large size issue & rarity with such unusual die & overdate. (P)
