100 Drachmas (18.12.1944) Provisional treasury note, issued in Kerkyra. Red ovpt on back of 100 Drachmas (ND 1941 / Pick M15). Serial no "61067". After liberation, the boat carrying fresh notes to Corfu sank, and it was authorised to overprint italian occupation notes, until new notes arrive. Inside plastic folder by PMG "Choice Uncirculated 63 - Previously Mounted". (Pick 154) & (Stratoudakis - Pitidis 432). Very rare item!
