A group of three vintage RHKAAF pilot's badges, namely: RHKAAF pilot's (silver metal) chest wing badge, RHKAAF pilot's gilt metal (gold, 59cm) cap badge and RHKAAF pilot's flying overalls (fabric) chest wing badge, all with King Edward's Crown and in excellent condition. All the badges issued to serving pilot officiers. A complete set is very rare and seldom available, especially in excellent condition. A storyline and script of a 6 minutes film for the Hong Kong Government Flying Service to publicize the arrival of the Black Hawk helicopter into service in 1996. Script and storyline by creative directoe Redge Solley, production company Salon Films Hong Kong and directed by Ross Blake (signed by Redge Solley). The Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (RHKAAF) was an auxiliary unit of the UK Royal Air Force, based in Hong Kong. It was formed in 1949 and disbanded on 31 March 1993 due to the transfer of sovereignty to the People's Republic of China in 1997. The service then became the Government Flying Service (GFS).
