Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Silver Denarius (4.0 g). Lugdunum, 8-7 BC. Laureate bust of Augustus facing right. Reverse Gaius and Lucius Caesars standing facing shields and spears between them; above, between spears, simpulum and lituus turned inwards. BM 529; RSC 43; RIC 207. Well executed and lustrous with delicate golden toning. Superb Extremely Fine.
