Seder HaMishna' (in Hebrew): Systematic Mishna, an Arrangement of the Mishna in Systematic Order | 'Moed' - by Dr. [Isaac] E[mil] Lichtigfeld; published by National Council for Jewish Religious Education, London; 1943, 240pg. Original binding, top two edge corners bent, light edge wear; all pages intact & in near-mint condition. This may be a first edition; appears to be the only titled published from this series (as written by the author inside: "I hope it will be realized that with regard to the production of this book a certain allowance has to be made for wartime conditions"). The book's structure is to display the Hebrew original above and an English explanation in easy everyday terminology below. Lichtigfeld (1894-1967) studied at Yeshiva in Frankfurt and emigrated to Britain in 1933. Inside-cover label indicates the book was distributed free of charge to the Teachers Union by a Mr. Simon Lichtigfeld, possibly a relative of the author.
