Germany: 25th Anniversary of Israel Loan Institute of Hamburg, 1841, by Hans Friedrich Alsing; bronze, Æ 45mm, 38.45g: featuring a bee hive and legends in German (Biblical quotations: "Give him your hand and lend him as much as he needs… one helped the other and said to his brother 'Be Safe'."). In UNC overall (as far as surface wear) and lovely patina and toning but adversely affected by numerous tiny pockmarks and signs of possible cleaning.
