Hungary: Bla Tth uniface bronze plaque, 1907; by Jewish medallist Istvan (Stephan) Csillag; size: 50x74.75 mm; weight: 104.8g. Tth (1857-1907) was a journalist and writer. Friedenburg considers Csillag to be the most prolific of the 20th Century Jewish Hungarian medallists. Ref. JMM p.90. Plaque may have been commissioned prior to Toth's death that year, for his 50th birthday.
