Queen's South Africa, clasp Cape Colony. 1914-15 Star Trio with M.I.D emblem on Victory to L/Cpl - later Sjt. and W. O Cls 2 on the pair. He served throughout his service in the Seaforth Highlanders and Labour Corp and was wounded at Magersfontain 11.12.1899, M.I.D LG 10.06.1919, page 8739, VF to EF
