Algeria: Pair of Test Notes printed on Goebel printing machines for the Central Bank of Algeria on real banknote paper. The special design of the notes clearly resembles the design of the banknotes that were circulating in Algeria between 1970 and 1980. These examples as test notes were produced with the fictive denomination "0000 and 02/002", printed with serial numbers 0001729539 and 0001729439 in Algerian banknote style and without printing date. A rare issue for an unknown purpose, probably a new design study for a new banknote series in that time. Condition: XF/XF+.
