A medal minted in honor the International Colonial Exposition in Paris (Exposition Colonial Internationale), Paris,1931.
The exposition, which opened in May 1931, presented the rich and diverse culture of the empires' colonies, among them Palestine.
Obverse: The Palestine pavilion at the exposition above the legend "Exposition Coloniale Internationale Paris 1931". Reverse: olive branches with the title "Palestine" in Hebrew, English and Arabic. Signed by the artist "L. Bazor".
Diameter: 31 mm.

1940, Lodz Ghetto "SPECEMEN PROOF". Cat: PO-561sp   SB1002  1 Mark. PMG 62. The first attempts of the Jewish Committee in cooperation with the Germans to find the final form of the banknote. The note is perforated on its right side. On the left side a Star of David symbol with a drawing of a candle are the signs of a printing experiment. Rare item.

Lodz (renamed Litzmannstadt), 1940 Lot of 1 notes, 20 Marks,  Scarce and historic Judaica notes. Lodz was the key industrial city that contained, after Warsaw, the second largest Jewish community in pre-war Poland. Lodz was occupied by the German Army in 1939 1 week after the German's invaded Poland and renamed Litzmannstadt. In February 1940 the Germans ordered the establishment of a ghetto in the northeastern section of Lodz. Over 150,000 Jews, more than a third of the total population of Lodz, were forced into a small area of the city. In January 1942 through 1944 deportations continued from the Lodz Ghetto to the Chelmno extermination complex. By August 1944 few Jews were left in LodzEstimate:
150-200 USD.
