Die Automobilgesellschaft wurde 1918 gegründet. Sie verkaufte zahlreiche europäische Luxuswagen sowie Motorräder und sogar Flugzeuge. Im September 2011 kam neues Leben in die Aktien, die auf Gold-Francs lauten. Theodore Karyotis, Wirtschaftsprofessor an der University of Maryland (USA), taxierte den Wert einer Aktie auf aberwitzige 670 Milliarden Euro.
