 Lot 10190 - militaria germany - Status International Stamps & Covers Public Auction 366Edged Weapons Luftwaffe 1st model maker E.F. Horster Solingen blade, very near mint condition with only the slightest marks near the blade tip, you have to look closely. Grip is in excellent condition with blue leather and twisted wire binding. Pommel & crossguard are a natural aluminium colour which match the scabbard. The Swastikas still retain the original gilding in perfect condition. Fitted with the 23cm aluminium portepee. The scabbard shows usage and definite carrying through the war with the leather worn on the edges but also has character throughout. Attached to the scabbard is the alum mum metal ring hanger & belt loop. Also included is a rare E&F Horster company sales tag, silver with red company details attached with a red fabric cord.
