1872 cover front from Athens to Bourlati, Moldavi franked with 1871/72 2x20l. grey-blue to pay postage to Constantinople, taxed with "45 BANI" (boxed mark in black tying one stamp), some faults, but a very rare postal history document. (Hellas 35b).

1879 EL frankef with 10x2l. yellow-bistre in strip of 7 (separated after 6th stamp plus 3 singles) tied by Kalamai cds to Kyparisia. Strip of six cut at left but extremely rare, especially on cover. An impressive showpiece. (Hellas 33a).

1871 (October 21st) mourning cover from Pireaus to Marseille franked with 1871-72 5l. yellow green in vertical pair, 20l. grey-blue with plate flaws "deformed underlip region" and "indentation of the bottom frame line" (pos.67) and 40l. bistre on greenish, all very fine. (Hellas 34a+35b+36b).

20l. sky-blue (pos.109) canc. "1" (=ΑΘΗΝΑΙ), double CF in the same color vertically at a distance of 4.6mm, case not mentioned in Koundouros study. Thinned and touched but RR. Another one stamp of the same issue position and setting for matching. Very nice lot. (Hellas 35a).
