Following on there is over 1100 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 656 - 1759). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous number of mint & used £1 & £2 top values. This auction includes a Third Watermark £2 Purple-black & pale rose, variety 'break in lower frame under N of Pounds'. Superb MUH top marginal, nice never hinged original gum, nice colours & excellent centring. SG 45b cat £4500 for M, should be at least double, £9000 MUH. ACSC 56C(D)o cat £17,500 as normals, plus +50% premium for variety =$26,250. Very rare genuine MUH.(Lot 875).
