Following on there is almost 800 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 1094-1843). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous number of mint & used £1 & £2 top values - this includes a Third Watermark £2 Grey-black & crimson, unlisted variety 'break in shading line below LI of Australia'. There are over 1,600 lots of World stamps, covers and single country collections (Lots 1844-3492) with the British Empire well represented, highlighted by a Ceylon 1912-25 KGV 500R dull green, wmk mult crown CA. Superb fresh MLH, nice original gum, beautiful colour & perfect centring. SG 322 cat £8500+. Extremely rare so nice & definitely one of the best quality examples of this high denomination rarity in existence. Exp Bloch, while new certificate can be obtained on request (Lot 2046).
