EL from "ΖΑΚΥΝΘΟΣ*8.ΑΥΓ.71" fr. with 40l. mauve on greenish, via "ΣΥΡΟΣ*10.ΑΥΓ.71", arr. "ΤΑΓΑΗΡΟΓb*25.1871". On 40l. stamp "0" inverted on CF (pos.123). The letter was paid to Constantinople. Handwritten "30" to be collected upon arrival. A nice CF error (Kound. 39.3) on cover. Rare. (Hellas 28cNb).

40l. mauve on green (pos.85), used. Right margin closing, just touches frame line at top, otherwise fine-very fine. Very rare. (Hellas 28ca).
Lot #149 - - LARGE HERMES HEAD 1867/1869 cleaned plates.
80l rose-carmine (pos.145), uneven control numbers (Kound. 40.5). In addition indentation of the right frame line. This is the second copy we found with this plate flaw, not mentioned in older studies. One closing corner not touch frame line. Fine-very fine and scarce. (Hellas 29a).
Lot #150 - - LARGE HERMES HEAD 1867/1869 cleaned plates.
80l. rose-carmine (pos.4) with Grooms characteristic "0" No.10 (1873 setting) In Koundouros study it mentions No.10 "0" under pos.147 wich is underlined (a never before announced position). A very important stamp to classify correrctly the first setting last 80 lepta LHH stamps. Very fine and important. (Hellas 29b).
