Endorsed “via Lisbon and Spain”, it received on front the red "OUTRE MER AMB IRUN A BORDX 17/2" double circle, and arrived at Bordeaux the following day, where it paid dues for 1F. 20c. (“12”), VF quality!

J Nº1", and "F. /48" of the Postal Treaty between France and Prussia of 1866. “F” indicates the credit in favor of France, and “48” is the article of the treaty affecting the shipment, in this case unpaid covers from Brazil, USA, colonies or countries...
