1864 (Dec 1) cover to Chatham, New Brunswick, franked at provincial rate by 1862-69 3d deep blue (SG.23) well centred example, very lightly cancelled with black pmk, also pen strokes, partial back stamps of Charlottetown, Shediac & Chatham. The cover with one side-flap missing, some creasing & minor soiling, still neat & scarce usage of the 3d compound perf (plated as R6/4) from the bottom row of the sheet.

1867 envelope Summerbridge to Carleton, New Brunswick with a 3d blue, compound P.11½ x 12 (SG.14), tied by a barred cancel. Summerbridge Nov 19, Saint John Nov 21 & Carleton Nov 21 1867 transit & arrival cancels on the back.

1868 (Aug 27th) cover to Charlottetown, from the Longworth correspondence, franked 2d internal rate by 1862-69 1d yellow orange, P.11½-12 vertical pair, (some separation between), tied by fine individual strikes of 10 - bar oval, VF type P6 arrival b/stamp. Extensive recipients docketing with summary of two legal cases, missing flap, still a neat orange envelope with the stamps off-centre but o/w fine. A scarce franking. (1)
