1845-48 1d red strip of eight GC-GK with irregular margins in places, abnormally pen cancelled with 9 crosses and additionally cancelled with three strikes of the 'Missent to Rugby/and Newcastle RWPO' h/stamp, this apparently is the only example of this h/stamp being used as a cancellation as it was only intended as a 'missent' mark, some creasing present, nevertheless a rare item.
