1900 (10 Oct) envelope to Gaberones, bearing 1897 Large Arms 2d, tied by 'BULAWAYO/RHODESIA, double-ring d/stamp with another strike alongside, showing 'PASSED PRESS CENSOR' h/stamp in violet and, on reverse, Palapye Station c.d.s. (12.10).

1900 (19 Jan) 4d registered envelope (size G) to Cape Town with 'REGISTRATION' crossed out, bearing 1892 8d cancelled by 'GWELO/MATABELELAND' c.d.s. with another strike alongside and showing, on reverse, Salisbury (22.1) and arrival (14.2) d/stamps. Note: Owing to the rail line being closed to Bulawayo by the Boers, mail was sent to Salisbury, then to Beira by train, then to Durban by ship and finally rail to Cape Town.
