Lebanon, tour of Beirut's post offices for this Russian stationery of 4k cancelled in Beirut on 17/3/1902 (Jiulian calendar). German, French, Austrian, Ottoman and British post offices also were sapped by well-known philatelist B. Audi. Abrasions and stains, but a fascinating and emblematic paper-witness of time's postal context. INTERESTING AND SCARCE.

Lebanon French office, cover sent from Tripoli on 28/5/1889 to Malta via the french post offices of Beirut and Port Said, here was transshipped on the same day 31/5 on the Egyptian post office of Port Said and reached Malta on 5/6/1889. Rare "APRES DEPART" linear seal applied. Franked for 1P cancelled recorded by Cedar catalog as type "E" in a very late use. INTERESTING AND SCARCE.

Here was transshipped the day 17/3 on the Ottoman post office of Beirut to reached Damascus on 19/3/1904. INTERESTING AND SCARCE WHOLE.

Lebanon German office, proxy form issued from the German Post office of Beirut and used to withdrawal a parcel arrived from Amsterdam with the Electra ship at the Beirut's customs office. Regularly paid the tax rights fees through a 10p revenues stamp, killed exceptionally with the cancellation of the German post office in Beirut on 17/1/1902. VERY RARE.
