26-12-1909 very fine strike of JAFFA7 pmk (PM16/Ba831) tied to UPU ppc of Jaffa Gate, J'lem ex JAFFA to PARIS and [over]franked 25 Para using 20pa + 5pa (folded over edge): as pc bears holiday greetings for Christmas and numbers up to 5 words, it should have been franked special 5 Para rate or just 20 Para for standard pc rate abroad; here it was charged both (one on top of the other) - too much holiday cheer?
