Rough perforation 14 to 16 1861/70: (1 d.) very deep blue, Plate II, rough perforation 14 to 16, an unused corner marginal pair, from upper left of sheet and showing "2" in margin, unissued, variety "Imperforate", fresh and very fine, unused without gum as are all known examples of this variety. Slightest crease in margin only, an extraordinarily rare and most attractive multiple and in all probability, unique. Cert.  Gi = £ 1'600+.rnNote: See the Gibbons footnote where they state 'examples cannot readily be distinguished from SG 10'. Obviously with a Plate Number 2 in margin, first utilised from 1866/67 the difference can here be noted with some ease. The colour of this pair bears no relation to the colour of the listed SG 23arnwhich is a pale blue.rn
