Die Initiatoren des Kristallpalastes von Porto wurden offensichtlich vom 1851 in London errichteten Crystal Palace inspiriert. Porto, 2 January 1867, Share of 100$000 Reis, #981, 26.5 x 32 cm, turquoise, folds, revenue stamps, small tears, superb vignette with view of the crystal palace, on back transfers and stamps until 1940. The crystal palace in Porto was most likely inspired by the Crystal Palace, which was built in London in 1851.
